Buddy West, President

Buddy West ABR, CRS, GRI, SRES has been selling real estate for 24 years throughout
Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania. It is often said that Buddy “walks his talk”. His sales
exceed 200 million, while being involved in many other aspects of the business. Buddy hosted
a one-hour live radio show entitled “Real Estate Talk” on CBS radio for ten years. During that
time, with his wife Betsy, he wrote a weekly newspaper column entitled “The Right Direction”.
His media contributions continue as a regular news authority on local TV.


Teaching, training and informative seminars have always been one of Buddy’s greatest loves.
From developing class curriculums for Fair Housing & Ethics for Realtors, to hosting First Time
Homebuyer, Investor, or Over 55 seminars throughout the Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania
markets. In 1995, Buddy co-authored a book, “Targeting the Over 55 Client” with his wife Betsy
and John Tuccillo.


Buddy was chosen as a Howard Brinton Star in 1997 and is a senior instructor for the Star Power
faculty, teaching throughout the United States. In 1998, he became Director of Education for
the Senior Real Estate Specialist, (SRES) and is teaching nationally on the subject of seniors.
He was a featured speaker at several National Association of Realtor’s annual conventions as
well as many state conventions. He speaks frequently for franchises, independent companies
and boards of Realtors. He will be a featured speaker at the National Association of Realtors
Convention this fall in New Orleans.


Buddy is happily married to Betsy and has two step-children, David and Braden. He is also
involved in the Special Olympics and served as a director for the last nine years. His philosophy

Yasmin Bowman, Sales Agent

Yasmin has more than twenty years experience as a Retail Sales and Marketing Executive managing luxury brands and Travel Retail accounts. She has been in charge of managing large national retail accounts such as Neiman Marcus, Lord & Taylor, Saks Fifth Avenue and Independent Accounts. She was Area Manager, Caribbean for Swarovski Travel Retail Division, Americas before parlaying her skills, experience and discipline full force into real estate in year 2004.


Yasmin enjoys managing residential real estate transactions. She also specializes in working with investors to incorporate residential multi unit investment properties into their portfolios. She also has experience working with commercial properties.

 

Yasmin attended Brandywine and Glasgow High Schools and the University of Delaware with a major in International Relations. She is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors, The Delaware Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Commercial Industrial Realty Council.

 

She is currently seeking CCIM designation.
Having moved to Delaware in 1974 from her native British Caribbean and having resided internationally, Yasmin enjoys connecting her clients with great real estate opportunities in her Delaware, national and international network.

Linnie Krug, Sales Agent
Linnie has more than 13 years of experience assisting buyers and sellers of residential real
estate. She has worked with potential transferees, promoting New Castle County, the State of
Delaware and the tri-state area. She provides orientation and temporary housing assistance
and manages a Home Buying program for inbound employees with Corporate Relocation. Prior
to entering the real estate industry Linnie was a Professional Tour Manager, traveling overseas
with groups of American tourists and managing domestic trips with local organizations.


She is a graduate of Dickinson HIgh School in Wilmington Delaware, the University of Delaware,
the State University of New York, and the Delaware School of Real Estate. She is a Realtor®
and member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors, the Delaware Association of Realtors,
and the National Association of Realtors. She is a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), a
member of the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) and a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES).
Today, her primary focus is servicing home sellers and buyers ages 50+ and their families. She
created Seniors Real Estate Advisors(SM), a group of financial, legal and tax professionals and
ancillary Senior Service providers to further assist her Senior clients.

John D. Rappa, Sales Agent
John is a graduate of McKean High School and attended Wesley & Goldey-Beacom Colleges
majoring in Economics & Computer Information Systems.


From 2000 until 2001, John worked in the Corporate Homes division of Patterson-Schwartz, at
which time he moved into residential sales. In 2008, John joined Emory Hill Residential as a sales agent. He has experience with corporate homes, residential real estate, and has worked with various
builders and developers in land acquisition and sales.


John is a member of the New Castle County Board of Realtors, the Delaware Association
of Realtors, & the National Association of Realtors®, and is a licensed real estate agent in
Delaware, Maryland, & Pennsylvania.

Gabe Carey, Sales Agent

Gabe Carey joined Emory Hill Residential in 2008 as a Real Estate Agent. He is a graduate of William Penn and has an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences from Delaware Tech. Prior to joining the Real Estate industry, he served as a Personal Trainer at Central YMCA and DSFC.

 

Gabe is a licensed Real Estate Agent in the State of Delaware.

Mary Kelly, Sales Agent

Mary joined the Emory Hill Residential Team in April 2009.

 

Mary, a Delaware native, is a graduate of Padua Academy High School and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Widener University.

 

Mary has eight years experience in the financial industry as a result of her employment with MBNA America. During her bank tenure, she held positions in four different areas of the bank including Loss Prevention, Credit, Consumer Finance and Marketing.

 

In April 2009, she decided to put this experience to work in the Real Estate Industry and joined Emory Hill Residential. Mary and EHR are a perfect fit.

 

Mary has a unique ability to work with people. She is willing to put the time, effort and energy into each individual transaction, thus rendering positive results for all parties. She has a proven track record of delivering what’s promised and consistently exceeding the customer’s expectations.
